About This Tour
Departing daily from Cairns, Silverswift is ready to whisk you away for a day of fun and adventure on the Great Barrier Reef. This is an active day all about being in the water for your dive or snorkel adventure of a lifetime!
You'll explore spectacular coral formations and underwater gardens awash with vibrantly coloured marine creatures as you visit three different outer reef sites at Flynn, Pellowe, Miln and/or Thetford Reefs. Locations vary with the day's conditions — each site is chosen for visual impact, ecological diversity and the challenge of discovery!
Onboard, the friendly crew will encourage you to relax and enjoy Silverswift's comforts. Between water activities there's a delicious lunch for hungry adventurers. The spacious deck areas are great to bask in some sunshine or share a refreshing drink from the licenced bar and swap tales of your adventures.

Boarding: From 8:00 AM at the Silverswift vessel, Reef Fleet Terminal — 1 Spence Street, Cairns QLD 4870.
Vessel departs: Strictly 8:30 AM. Please do not be late.
No hotel pickups are available for this tour — please make your own way to the Reef Fleet Terminal. There is paid parking nearby.
Online Check-In
Online check-in opens 24 hours prior to your travel date. You'll receive both a text message and an email prompting you to complete your check-in. On the day of travel, present your digital boarding pass at the Silverswift vessel. If you haven't checked in online, bring your booking voucher to the Silverswift check-in counter inside the Reef Fleet Terminal from 7:30 AM to collect your boarding pass. Call (07) 4044 9944 to confirm your booking 24 hours prior. Check your spam/junk folder if the check-in email doesn't appear.

Open Dated Booking Notice
Open dated bookings require 15 days notice before your scheduled start date.
Reconfirm Your Booking
All bookings must be reconfirmed 1 day before your scheduled start. Call (07) 4044 9944 or email reservations@greatadventures.com.au.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations within 1 day of the start date incur a 100% cancellation fee. Cancellations between 1 day and 365 days before departure receive a full refund.
Silverswift cancellation terms: Cancellations after 6pm on the day prior to travel incur a 100% fee. Cancellations between 12 midday and 6pm on the day prior incur a 50% fee. Cancellations before 12 midday on the day prior incur no fee.
Terms & Conditions
- On very rare occasions, services can be subject to weather or unforeseen circumstances. Should a cruise not operate, passengers will be offered an alternative day or a refund.
- During scheduled maintenance, Silverswift services may be operated by a different vessel than the one shown on this site.
- Prices do not include drop-offs back to your original pick-up location unless pre-purchased.
- The minimum age for introductory scuba diving is 12 years.
- Certain medical conditions and medications may preclude participation in optional in-water activities.
